Anyone else here like classics? My classmates, except for my close friend Petra, read Twilight and Bunny Suicides, if they read at all.

I like Little Women, Anne Of Green Gables, and A Little Princess. And I started some Jane Austen but I couldn't get into it. xP

I've read Jane Austen. Didn't really enjoy it, to be honest.

Alice in Wonderland PWNs all, and I need to read War of the Worlds...

Pride and Predujice sucks. Seriously.

No, no classics for me I'm afraid, unless you call the Hobbit classic.

I'm not exactly an aliens gal. Urban fantasy, that's rocking. But aliens burning the planet and some slightly absurd descriptions? Not so much...
I went through a phase when I was younger where I read pretty much only unicorn/fairy books. Now, I like classics, Greek myths and urban fantasy about faeries.

Yes, there is a difference between fairies and faeries. XP

Life can be fun but often we wish for something more. We can long for newer pastures,
a bit of adventure, or some intrigue to spice up our lives. One of the easiest ways
to see new places and meet new people is to open up a good classic book. These stories
have been read by countless people and have withstood the test of time. All classic
fiction books are as relevant today as they were when they were written plus are
able to transport you to another land just by opening the pages. It is possible
to journey through different countries, into outer space, or even through time within
the pages of a book. Wherever you want to go, chances are that there will be some
classic reading books to take you there.

Aw, ellie, no way, man! Pride and Prejudice ROCKS! :(
It's so funneh!! And all that crap about the classes and heirarchy that existed in the 18oo's was disgusting. I mean, the way the rich folk used to look down at the poor. It makes you glad that you live in the 21st century, where all that discrimination is spit upon! SPIT UPON!
...Okay, lol, I am extremely freaky.
Classics are great, but Fantasy, in my opinion, is just way better.
