Rachael walked down the silent corrider to her dorm. She had been assigned a new one this term, apparently because there were some new girls coming that would need help getting around. She sighed, walked over to a bunk and threw her pillow on the top bed.

Description:Long brown wavy hair, hazel eyes. Very short.

Rhianna walked down the unusually quiet corridor to her dorm. There was another girl there, already unpacking. "Hi, I'm Rhianna. What's your name?" she said quietly.

"I'm Rachael," She replied to the quiet girl. "Is this your first year here? I don't think I've seen you before." She grinned.

"Yeah." she looked around, putting her stuff on the bottom bunk.

"Oh, cool. This is my fifth year here. My parents were killed in a boat crash when I was 7."

"Woah." Rhianna whispered.

"I don't really remember them much now anyways. I live with my aunty." She grinned. "Now, what about you? Why are you here?"

"My parents are dead." Rhianna replied.

"Oh." Rachael looked at her scuffed shoes. "Now there's something to have in common!" She looked up and laughed.

Rhianna smiled back. "So, is there anything I need to know about this school? Like about teachers and stuff?"

"Steer clear of dorm number 7, teacher's always hang around there. Dunno why though."

"Ok." Rhianna nodded. "It's really quiet around here, have you noticed?"

"Yeah, I have.."

John strolled down the hallway, earphones in, playing air-guitar. He was oblivious to the open door he walked past.

"Well someone's enjoying themselves." Rhianna stated as a boy playing air guitar walked past.

"Haha, yeah. I think I've seen him before though. I'm pretty sure his names John."

"Uh huh." Rhianna looked at her watch. "6 o'clock already?"

"Oh God, really?" She pulled out her phone and looked at it. "Wow."

"Time flies."

"Haha, yeah."

"Yeah. So..."

"C'mon! Let's go have a look around. It's dinner at 6:30, so we have a bit of time."

"Ok." They left the room.
