Ferns boots crunched against the snow that was falling onto the ground. She smiled, and a flake landed on her fingertip. Suddenly she was hit by a snowball in the back of the coat. She span around, expecting someone to be there, but nobody was.
Even though it was snowing, she was walking to school. She was in the park which she would've normally ridden through on her bike. Through the fence she could see the little kids playing on snow covered play grounds, their cheeks pink, their faces lit up with glee.
She smiled and headed through the shortcut though the trees to school.

Cleo looked curious. She twirled a strand of hair. "Oh? My hair is usually like this. Can't do anything with it."

"M'kay, fair enough." Rhianna shrugged.

((Mr. Bryan reminds me so much of my science teacher. Good memories, aahhh.....))

Ryan resisted to the urge of bursting out laughing, when Cleo appeared. But he looked again at Mr. Bryan, and mumbled, "Uhm, Er-Sorry sir, I'm new here, and-er I have no idea what to bring."

Cleo smiled in Ryan's direction when Mr Bryan wasn't looking, and finished the last of the questions. She raised her hand.

"What is it?" Mr Bryan frowned.

"I finished the questions." Cleo held her notebook.

"Already?" He was kinda scary.

"They weren't much." Cleo nodded.

The teacher assigned her twice as many questions.

"5 minutes until freedom..." Rhianna stared intently at her watch.

Cleo had finished the set of extra questions he gave her just as soon as the bell rung. "Hopefull next period won't have such a scary teacher." She murmured under her breath as she went out the door after showing him the question's answers.

Ryan silently got up and took his stuff. When he got of the door. He sighed deeply.

Cleo tugged on a braid. "I must be cursed or something. One of the first days of school, I'm late, my unicycle popped, and my first teacher was evil."
